Very nice. I particularly like the shoulderpad scroll. He turns out better in red, most people use gold.

yeah, i much prefer red i think..i had a gold version too...looked fine. but he just fits i think like this.
what i'm waiting for is for GW to start re-doing the blood angels, like they did for the ultra marines and dark angels...
i would like to see a more bulky detailed dante. or i'll just make one sometime..hehe

I quite like the sculpted armour of the blood angels. It makes a nice change from the fairly standard armout your see on other chapter special characters. But the Dante model is a little on the skinny side.

I wouldn't hold your breath on new blood angel models if I were you. There aren't any plans to redo them any time soon I'm afraid.

yeah, i know.
i've stopped collecting and painting them anyway, pretty much.
i have almost a full company of them from way back. but i havent done any serious work on it for almost 5 years.

i love the blood angel models. but it would be nice to see some more bulky versions.

really into the primarchs, and per heresy pieces as of late.

Thank you for putting this up. I am getting back into painting and this has really inspired me. One question, what colour did you undercoat it, if you can remember.

i use ceramcoat paints...i wanna say it was simply called red. =)
